What we need now is a commercial leader to own that growth: to turn early momentum into a repeatable, scalable, and profitable revenue engine — and to build the organization that carries it. The role

As Chief Revenue Officer, you own Airon's commercial strategy and revenue — and you build the organization, the processes, and the selling motion that will carry our growth. It's a genuine hybrid: full strategic ownership combined with hands-on proximity to the deal. You won't just set direction from a distance — you'll be in the room on the contracts that matter. You report to and partner closely with the CEO as go-to commercial counterpart, and you sit at the center of the leadership team.

What you'll do

  • Own revenue and commercial strategy — the targets, the models, and the path to profitable, scalable growth.
  • Build the sales organization from the ground up — pipeline, structure, roles, comp, and the rigor of consistent follow-up.
  • Lead large, complex deals with long cycles against demanding counterparts — internationally
  • Design the models behind major recurring contracts — capacity agreements of up to three years — and build predictable, recurring revenue.
  • Set the strategy and structure for customer onboarding, so customers move from signature to production fast.
  • Own the commercial KPIs and drive data-informed decision-making across the business.

We believe you

  • Have 10+ years in commercial or sales-leadership roles in international environments.
  • Have led and scaled sales organizations through growth — ideally having built a sales function from scratch.
  • Have driven large, technically complex deals with long sales cycles against demanding counterparts.
  • Have negotiated major recurring contracts, ideally within software, SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure.
  • Have done international business
  • Have a genuine interest in AI and understand where the real value in the technology sits.

Bonus points for

  • Experience selling compute, cloud, or infrastructure.
  • A working understanding of AI / ML workloads.
  • A strong network across tech and scale-up environments.
